Happy Westphalia II

Performance, Design Drawing

Performed on March 27, 2015, BAECKEREI, Berlin, in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Joseph Imorde Table, two-burner stove, frying pan, meatballs, strip of paper on the wall Documentation: Susann Unger, BAECKEREI, Berlin The artist bakes meatballs and throws them at the wall against the paper, where grease stains form an image. In the 2015 version of the performance, guests sit at a table and listen to the art history lecture by Joseph Imorde “Schauessen: Staged Banquets in the Renaissance and Baroque,” a parallel performance takes place. The throwing occurs unexpectedly and abruptly disrupts the lecture. Some meatballs are served as food. They are accompanied by potato salad. Leftover meat on the floor is removed the following day.
