A Change of Perspective – Women Photographers in Düsseldorf

September 14, 2025 – January 4, 2026

From the very beginning, women photographers have played an important role in the history of photography; however, unlike their male colleagues, they have rarely received public recognition. For this reason, this special exhibition focuses explicitly on women photographers in order to highlight their work. In addition to historical works by professional female photographers, the exhibition also features independent artistic works by graduates of the Düsseldorf School of Photography as well as other (contemporary) female artists. Works by over 100 female photographers with ties to Düsseldorf reflect the diversity of their art.
My work "NeeNeeNee" from 2024, which the museum recently acquired, will be on display.

You are cordially invited to the opening reception on September 14, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
